RDF are pleased to announce that it can now design, install, test and commission all elements of renewable energy.

With ever increasing energy costs and the uncertainty of supply, many people are looking at ways to reduce their energy bills and indeed their carbon footprint. There has never been a better time to invest in new energy saving technologies.

The government has sanctioned feed in tariffs for the production of electricity that will guarantee an income for 25 years, it is also index linked against inflation and has an equivalent payback of between 7% and 9% tax free. If you currently have savings that are returning around 3%, why not re invest it on your roof and triple your return?

The government has also sanctioned payment for producing hot water and heating by the use of Solar Thermal panels and Heat Pumps to replace conventional gas boilers. Not only do the alternative forms of heating save you money, the government is also going to reward you for producing your own heating and hot water by means of the Renewable Heating Incentive.

The capital return on all of the renewable energy products is generally 8 years or less, the return on capital however is guaranteed between 20 and 25 years depending on the product.
