RDF Building Services are delighted to announce the successful competitive tendering of 2 partnering contracts with the Salvation Army.
From April 2014 RDF will be responsible for the provision of planned servicing and reactive maintenance to gas, LPG and oil fired heating installations of all commercial premises throughout the North of England for the organisation.
In a second successful procurement procedure, running concurrently with the gas tender, RDF Building Services have also been successful in securing the contract to provide a reactive maintenance service covering both domestic and commercial premises providing a 24 hour a day 365 day a year call out facility.
With an extensive portfolio of commercial and residential properties, RDF was judged via a stringent selection process involving formal submission of documentation, a series of interviews and site visits by a panel from the Salvation Army to be best placed to deliver both projects. Specifically we were assessed on rates, logistical capabilities, operational capabilities, Help Desk procedure along with our business policy and ethics.
The partnership ensures consistency of delivery to Salvation Army properties over a lengthy period and we are pleased to report the initial feedback from the client has been very positive.
On confirmation of securing both contracts Managing Director Rick Firth said, “It is with great pride that RDF Building Services can formally be associated the Salvation Army.
