Brownlee Arms is an Olympiad standard refurbishment

Project Description

Client

Enterprise Inns Plc and Enterprise Inns’ Leaseholder

The Project

RDF Building was appointed to complete a large stone extension and fully refurbish the entire property

Our Solutions

The Grey Horse, as it was called, was a very tired public house that had a confused and cluttered layout. RDF created a large stone extension, to add further operating capability to the property, and then completed major structural works internally to change the layout to make the site more practical. This involved removing the existing WCs, bars and walls to create a more free flowing environment for customers and staff.

Works included an extension; structural alterations; a full electrical re-wire of power, lighting and fire alarm systems; replacement heating system; new catering kitchen including extraction; roofing works; internal & external decoration; sanitary ware and cubicles to the new WCs; Limestone, timber, slate, vinyl and carpet floor coverings; and a full new bespoke bar and back bar

The property was renamed, after the local sporting Brothers, with new signage being designed and installed.
