We have treated ourselves to an early Christmas gift and bought a drone!
The 4k camera is able to pick out amazing detail whilst the drone moves over buildings and roofs saving clients costs on expensive access equipment to complete surveys.
RDF is proud to be able to offer this service to our clients.
Following on from the successful completion of Phase 1 at the Grade II Listed Weetwood Hall, RDF were awarded the contract to deliver Phases 2 – 5.
These phases include the creation and construction of a new 120 seat Mediterranean themed restaurant, ‘Convive’, major refurbishment of the existing kitchen & back of house areas, a new bar, new dining area and refurbishment of the existing reception.
The new restaurant, which opens in early February 2017, will be part of the University of Leeds owned Weetwood Hall Estate but will retain an independent identity of it’s own.

The upgrading of existing fire protection is well underway for several of RDF’s national clients.
RDF has started a number of different fire protection upgrading schemes for several blue chip clients over their property portfolio which includes various different sectors including retail, hospitality, leisure, education and healthcare.
The works include the manufacture and replacement of fire doors, upgrading of fire protection partitions & screens, access controls, repairs to existing doors, replacement of seals, strips and ironmongery as well as alterations, adaptions, installation and testing of linked fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
RDF undertook the initial surveys and advised the clients on what works were required in order to ensure they were meeting all statutory requirements.
The delivery programmes for each individual client have been planned and implemented by RDF across the various national sites so that there is minimum disturbance caused whilst ensuring any deadlines for completion are met.
Constant, clear lines of communication with the sites, area managers and the client have been maintained at all times to ensure all parties are aware of any changes to the programme or schedule of the works.
The works are clearly documented as they are completed and records of this retained as part of our asset management service.
No disturbance to trade was the client’s main requirement whilst undertaking the full recovering of the existing supermarket unit’s roof.
As a live functioning supermarket the last thing that the multi national client wanted to have was any issues or loss of trade whilst we completed the recovering of the existing roof.
Works were completed seamlessly to ensure no loss to trade, minimum disturbance to staff & customers whilst ensuring zero H&S risks.
